SOTA
4 years - Female - Feline - Cheetah - Iris Pride - Duchess
Personality:
Sota, or Sasotah which is her full name, is a feline who loves gossip. If something is happening in Hexasol, whether this being about newcomers, killings, rumors or just who’s dating who, Sota is the one who knows about it, and she can tell whether a rumor is true or false – if not, she’ll check it out on her own. If you want a rumor started, Sota is the one you should go to, and she doesn’t care whether the rumor is true or false – if it can improve her career in the Iris pride, she would even say she fucked Gravity. If she can take advantage of it, Sota will say anything. But on the same time, Sota is also the secret-keeper. To drag information out of her is as impossible as it can get – no one who’s not from the Iris pride can make her give out information about the pride she’s loyal to. She might love gossip, but she’s not the telltale – she knows when to shut her mouth and never speaks too much.
She also loves attention from others, as long as she’s not working, and she’s also quite pleasant to spend time with since she’s both kind and open. But even though she likes attention, she also needs some time alone, and if that doesn’t happen, she can be directly rude to be together with. While working, Sota can be a pretty different person. Then she’s concentrated and often strict, because she’s ambitious and pretty much of a perfectionist. Generally, Sota likes to have overview and control of things, and she hates when things are messy and imprecise – as a spy she likes details and precision about things instead of shallow facts, because in her position, details are a necessity. As said, Sota is an ambitious feline, and even though she likes the position she has now, she’s determined on getting a higher rank. Others might shake their heads at her because she’s a big feline with a lack of strength who’s aiming high, and yes, she knows she’s not the strongest - but she also knows she’s damn good at what she’s doing.
• likes | All kind of useful knowledge she can get in Hexasol, attention, precision, overview and control
• dislikes | Imprecision, slow characters (whether this being mentally or physically), to repeat something to someone, complete chaos, canines – especially wolves
• goals | To obtain a high rank through her hard work
• fears | Complete chaos
• strengths | She’s not easily stressed since she’s used at being busy, she’s agile, good at staying hidden, she’s good at gathering information
• weaknesses | Gets irritated if she doesn’t get some time alone, strict if you’re not precise enough about information, she’s not very strong physically, career-minded
• mental disorders | None
Appearance:
Sota’s coat is short with nuances of yellow, black and white. Her short fur is a pain in the winter times of Hexasol but on the opposite she’s good at living in the heat of the summers. As other cheetahs, Sota has black markings from her eyes down to her cheeks and her short fur is dappled with black spots. Her long legs are strong and with her lithe build Sota is a perfect runner which makes others think about why she didn’t become a Hunter instead of a Spy. Sota is lacking brute strength because of the lithe way her body is build, but any domestic dog should still think twice before they fight her on its own - she is after all a big cat. But on the other hand, Sota has an agile body and she’s often quicker to react and dodge an attack than other big felines are. Her eyes are brown and attentive, her long tail helps her with keeping her balance and on the back of each round ear she has black markings.

History:
Sasotah’s mother had lived her whole life in a Zoo, so when the humans died of the unknown disease, she teamed up with the three other female cheetahs that she’d shared her exhibit with. They’d grown up in the Zoo together and were as close as sisters, so living together after the humans’ death came naturally to all of them – besides, living together was easier and less frightening for the four female cheetahs that’d never lived in the wild before. But even though they could help each other, it was still a challenge. Only Sasotah’s grandmother had lived in the wild, so Sasotah’s mother had at least been taught a few tricks about living out in the wild which she could teach the three other females. But in the first winter of being independent of the humans, one of the females died in the cold and the three other females were starving when spring finally came – winter had after all been something Sasotah’s grandmother hadn’t been able to teach her daughter how to survive. But the three females did great after this. Time passed, and Sasotah’s mother found a mate whom she got Sasotah and Sasotah’s sister with.
The two cubs grew up with their mother, and the other females became as aunts to them. They grew up with four other cheetah cubs who were the sons and daughters of the two other females. They learned to think before they acted – that brute strength isn’t always the key to success. They learned that living with others instead of living on your own could be an advantage even though you sometimes had to compromise with each other to get along. So, the little family lived almost peacefully in a year – apart from lesser fights with mean canines and other troublesome animals who were trying to maintain a life after the humans’ death. But when a pack of wolves attacked the family, their peaceful life was shattered into pieces. One of Sota’s “aunts” died as well as three of the other cubs as they, outnumbered, tried to flee from the pack of wolves. All of them grieved after the attack, because even though they hadn’t been a family of flesh and blood, they had still been a family of heart and soul – they had lived together as a Pride. The others tried to settle down at a new place, but Sota couldn’t just return to a normal life. She wanted revenge – she wanted to do something about this “canine problem”. So when she was about one and a half years old, Sota left her family to join the Iris Pride which she’d heard roamed in Hexasol where a big battle against the canines was taking place. It was here, in Hexasol, that she found her place in the Iris Pride and started to eliminate Man’s best friend – the dog.
