"Zydrate comes in a little glass vial. And the little glass vial goes into the gun like a battery. And the Zydrate gun goes somewhere against your anatomy. And when the gun goes off it sparks and you're ready for surgery."
GRAVEROBBER.
Six - Male - Canine - Siberian Husky - Packless - Rankless
Personality:
Graverobber is socially neglected and rather awkward to talk to, but adores to be around others. His fascination with organs and anatomy in addition to his incredible intelligence is what really develops him, but often pushes others away. They are uncomfortable with his captivation with the living, but especially the dead. Graverobber has learned and continues to find a fascination with enhancing his mind in just about everything. He's fascinated by some of the most complex things developed within his time alive. He began to learn the minute he was born, and got increasingly more and more intelligent as the years went on. He feels lonely at times, realizing that many don't understand his enchantment with the macabre and gruesome. He spends his time confessing and indulging in the listening ear to the cockroaches that often find their way into the animal shelter. He's named the most common ones that show up, his favorite is Marv, who is missing half an antenna. He obviously can't understand him, but feels like Marv understands him. He can have a rather sour attitude if something bothers him or talks bad about his companions. Graverobber is constantly looking for genetic perfection, the canine or feline that is physically, anatomically perfect based on his research. While Graverobber has not gained opposable thumbs, he has learned how to use his teeth and paws in astounding ways, be it to open kennels that have pull slots or pinch locks or pull open dressers and handle knobs. He's slowly learning how to twist open door knobs, but its a very tedious and difficult task. He has also learned how to (sloppily, very sloppily) skin large animals with sharp stones, though it most often is ruined by the intestines and other gastric fluids, he still enjoys the procedure when it is indeed successful and he can take the tattered pelt to the river, rinse it and let it dry in the sun.
Appearance:
Despite being so socially awkward, Graverobber is actually a fairly good looking male. Rather simple other then his pale almost white eyes, he's a basic mixture of whites, creams and sepia tones that mark his fur and darken as they reach his back and arch over his head. He's got a rather normal marking mixture of a Siberian Husky. Graverobber has rather clean looking teeth due to being taken care of at the animal shelter. He was bathed often so his fur is soft and clean, free of fleas and other pests. He's got rather roughly trimmed nails from running down the empty streets on his drug runs. People often mistake him as dirty or infested because he sometimes has a large cockroach riding on his collar but this is one of the few that seems to find its way into the animal shelter that he uses for a social companion.
History:
Graverobber was born in the Hexasol Animal shelter along with his two brothers and one sister. Though he was not born as Graverobber, he was given the name Zii (pronounced like the letter Z). He earned the title Graverober later on. After being weaned, Luigi, Magnolia and Pavi were adopted out to new homes, but the staff of the shelter had become attached to Zii's incredible intelligence. They found it rather amusing to hand him a book in which he'd place a paw on it and move the pages after a few moments by letting them stick to his wet nose. What they didn't know was he was slowly teaching himself to read. He often followed the head vet tech around, learning words and discovering how they held an attribute to the way the canine or feline would be affected.
He became the Animal Shelter mascot and many came in to see him. He was shown a couple times on the local news and many were shocked by his intelligence. Due to the high number of abuse cases that came in, Zii learned to be fascinated by the anatomy and organs of the animals that would need to go into surgery. Several of the techs actually found him sitting on a stool outside the surgery room door, staring in through the windows. They found it odd yet it was all in good fun and they just thought he was being a dog with a silly personality.
After the virus hit, Zii became Graverobber after being yelled at so many times by other canines for digging up bodies so he could continue his research. He soon just used that as his name, enjoying the ring it had to it and he found himself raiding graves more often.
