ALEXANDER.
two years - male - feline - lion - Iris - Leader
Personality:
Alex takes after his infamous mother in some of ways, and his more gentle father in others. Almost everything he does is motivated by his hatred of canines. His dream is not necessarily to see the Iris Pride rule the entire city, but he wants to wipe out every dog and every cat who sympathizes with dogs. He sees all dogs as inferior, stupid, and believes that the whole species is nothing but evil when you get right down to it. When he comes across a canine, his mind goes into a violent rage and his only instinct is to kill.
However, he doesn’t ever want to become completely like his mother. He tries to keep a good relationship with all of his pridemates and wants them to view him as a fair leader. Towards cats he knows and trusts, he becomes an almost completely different person from how he is around canines. Alex isn’t the most mature leader; he likes to joke around and play pranks, and sometimes acts more like a cub in an adult’s body than anything else. He hasn’t yet learned to solve problems by means other than violence. Despite his immaturity though, Alex does have the Pride’s best interests at heart, and would never purposefully put his friends in danger. However, towards cats he feels are disloyal or who support the idea of canines and felines living in peace, he is cruel and unforgiving. Instead of a coldhearted murderer, though, he will usually act like a playground bully around these types of cats, unless they have done something to specifically hurt the Iris Pride.
Appearance:
The only thing that is really going to change physically between Alex’s cubhood and adulthood is his size. Besides that, he’ll always have young look about him. Instead of being a massive animal of brute force like most other male lions, Alexander’s body is much more streamlined and, if it weren’t for his mane, he could probably be mistaken for a lioness. And even then, his mane is nothing to brag about, since it doesn’t entirely frame his face and is nowhere near as thick as it could be. His body isn’t small, there just appears not to be much to him. He lacks defining muscles and, though he’s well fed, is thinner than most big cats. These features can make him appear underdeveloped or weak, but in reality he’s quite physically strong if he puts all his effort into it. Although he’s rather like a male version of his mother when it comes to looks, he did inherit his father’s stark white coat and frosty blue eyes.
