Plotty plot.
Anyway. I'm relatively new and when I think back to the only site I ever lasted awhile on... it was because of a plot. A killer plot.
And I love a good killer plot. Making things move, instead of just posting random posts where so and so is bouncing around doing whatever individuals do on their own waiting for the other so and so to come along and chat them up.
I have one character: Mallory.
She's a premade, but I do think I'll get to have some fun with her once I can get the ball rolling. She's an Iris Pride member and doesn't do well with dogs (at the moment) but if I can see it going somewhere we can see how things go if you have a dog you want involved. No guarantees, my characters tend to go places on their own and I'm not going to tie her down to a specific response if nothing of their meeting will illicit that response.
Her main issue is that she has violent thoughts/urges at random. She at the moment does what she can to stifle those thoughts and urges and keep them from popping out, and overall is a relatively cynical individual. If you're young, considered a "kitten," she's nice to you.
I like to have very dynamic characters, so don't look at much of her personality as being set in stone (the violent thoughts/urges will be there for a good long while unless some traumatic event changes all that but how she reacts to them is subject to change; a quality she has from her mother of being very protective of those she cares for [at the moment, no one] will also not change unless she has some sort of traumatic event or a series of similar, awful related events [trusting and protecting someone and being backstabbed multiple times]).
At the moment... Eh, maybe a mate, eventually. But it's got to be something fun.
So... ideas, anyone? Heck, you can post your characters if you're willing and we can both brainstorm something
I'm not picky.
