Even though it's been a long time since since the attempted nighttime adventure, and the encounter with the lone wolf named Leonardo, Gus wasn't sure if Bear was okay with him. He hadn't seen Antigone in a long time, Gusto wasn't sure if her brother, the packs new general, would get angry with him for simply asking.
Speaking of the new general, even tough Gus wasn't quite used to his new leaders yet, the disillusioned coyote was happy that Ryu and Bear were chosen to lead the pack instead of him. Despite successfully releasing Valkyrie and her friend from the Iris pride's prison, and killing on of the felines that had killed his sister, he was guilty that he wasn't able to help Kai when she needed it. That rescue mission probably would have gone differently if someone else had been chosen and he was just there to help.
Gusto tried to focus on other things as he wandered the packs territory. Winter would be here soon enough, maybe he could help hunt for food. Maybe he could also, at least, catch a glimpse of Antigone. If she hadn't left the city already.
It was something he tried to keep to himself but, he was actually rather fond of the dog. He probably made it obvious enough when he tried to defend her when some of the pack made fun of her when she wasn't around. Gus didn't see Anti as arrogant or whatever the others said about her, just a little too confident. If she had stayed, and if she was willing, Gus would have tried to help her with that somehow.
It was obvious that she had left some time ago, since he could only find fading scents, he just had no idea where she could be and if her brother was willing to tell him.
Gusto slowly walked toward the cemetery, checking above and below wind to check for anything that shouldn't be here.

Zeevi was, put simply, extremely uncomfortable today. It wasn't that he was too hot in his thick winter coat - actually, that was the only thing that was keeping him comfortable as the temperatures slowly dropped. It was that he was quite literally in pain. He'd grown a lot in the last several months, almost completely to his adult size, but, as a drawback, his body was aching. Growing pains, his mother had explained. She had had them too. His siblings probably also had them, but Zeevi didn't get much a chance to talk to River or London these days. Hell, he didn't really talk much to anyone. They all gave him stares like he was the most estranged member of the pack. Of course, none dared voice his quirks in a malicious manner. He was the son of the former Mistress of Tempest, after all - and Brooke was still a protective mother despite the fact that she was now letting her children act independent.
"One... th-three... five," he murmured to himself as he walked around the length of the cemetery. Someone earlier had advised him to stretch his legs in order to make them feel less stiff and painful, but walking only seemed to make his feet feel heavier. What was wrong with him, anyway? Zeevi let out something of a whine in the middle of his counting, only to forget what number he was on, and stop dead in his tracks. More distressed whimpers worked its way out of him. Shit, shit, shit, what number did he leave off on? Nine? Thirteen? God forbid it was an even number. He didn't like those very much.
In desperation, he looked for anything to distract himself before he got more upset with his little dilemma, and his eyes landed upon Gusto. Ears perking up immediately, Zeevi had to resist a wag of his tail. He really liked the Coyote. Someone had told him once that Gusto was delusional... and well, so was he, right? Shouldn't delusional, crazy canines stick together? But more than anything, Gusto gave him some hope. He was a well respected member of Tempest despite his quirks. Maybe, one day, Zeevi would be too? Numbers temporarily forgotten, he padded his way over to the other canine, who seemed lost in his own world, and managed to squeak out a, "Hello!
