STRONG LANGUAGE WARNING ^^
This place had once belonged to the infamour Lexis Tribe, but now she was bold enough to be sleeping here as often as she wished. It was just to provoke, and hopefully catch a single Lexis survivor or two, if such even existed. She wasn’t sure how accurate Alexander and his minions had been in eliminating Lexis, if they’d gotten all of those who’d fled for their lives, but at least she hadn’t seen the shade of a former Lexis member the last few days. But she was here anyways, trying to get some rest after an awful night of sleep. Sleeping was hard for her, and there was a very specific reason to that. It was a reason which seemed to continue night after night, never wanting to cease – not even after all these months.
It was the white lion who often haunted her in her sleep, always asking her ‘why’? Why had she done it, why had he deserved it, why, why, why. His soft and confused voice would cling to her mind long after sleep, making her feel paranoid and tired, almost afraid that others too might start asking questions. If she once should be lucky and not meet her stepfather in her dreams, the dream would be complete darkness, as if she was being swallowed up by a big, black hole. Though not sounding pleasant, that kind of darkness surrounding her was very much welcome for Kira. It was as though it shielded her from what she didn’t want to face. But this noon it wasn’t Panja who haunted her. No, this male lion was tawny like herself, but just like Panja, he too looked upon her with a sad and confused expression. ‘Why had it come to this? Why had she had to grow up like this?’ WHY DID THEY HAVE TO LOOK UPON HER THAT WAY!? Why so much sadness and regret?! Why, why wh- OH STOP IT!
She groaned in her sleep and turned her body on the mattress in the junkyard, clenching her eyes together a little more together in the hope his face would disappear. He had NO. REASON to be in her life. Streiter was her real father, yes, but she’d been designed to kill him, nothing more. And after he’d committed suicide, there was no reason for her to think of him ever again, especially not have these nightmares about him. Her intentions partly worked, the tawny frame of her father disappeared from her inner eye, but now she was awake though her eyes were still tightly shut. She’d have to try and sleep again now when she’d finally gotten peace from him. Perhaps he’d been haunting her because she lingered on his former territory… how ironic. He’d killed himself and now his entire tribe was dead as well. Nothing had just worked out for Lexis, huh? But though Streiter had now disappeared, a part of him still seemed to linger around her. The feeling became a scent, a scent which reminded her of him and yet was different, a scent which came closer and closer. It belonged to him, but-
”Fuck you, Course! Move your ass far off from here or I’ll tear you apart!” Her head flew up from the mattress which it’d been resting upon, her front legs parted as she lay, tense and ready to attack. Her eyes were wild with rage and a snarl decorated her fierce expression. Why was he still alive? Hadn’t he left long ago!?
((OOC: Bahaha,I just got the best image of Kira ever, so I really couldn't help doing this xD))
