REBEL.
a little over 1 year - female - canine - gray fox - loner - N/A
Personality:
- rebelious, hence the name: Don't expect much 'following the rules' from this vixen. She lives for the phrase: "Rules are meant to be broken." This may be one of the reasons she doesn't like living in groups, clans, packs, or anything of the sort. Rebel's name says it all sometimes. This is one of her traits that hasn't faded, but only grown stronger in her teenage years.
- flirtatious, due to her 'foxy' appearance: Rebel loves how pretty and rather good looking she is. She shows it off a lot; even her walk resembles a 'sexy' strut. Her young innocence has obviously worn off. However, she doesn't believe in having pups with 'bad boys'. Despite how flirtatious she might be with any other fox, she refuses to have pups with anyone she doesn't truly love.
- clever, and energetic: If she's in the mood, Rebel can make you roll on your back laughing. She loves to make witty jokes and bounce around like a pup at times. It's good to see she's not completely consumed in her dangerous teenage personality.
- derisive, when angered: This female is not one to be messed with when she's in a bad mood. Normally she won't take it personally and shrug it off, but if she's bothered by something already, it's not a good time to crack down on her. Rebel will tear you apart verbally and physically if she feels the need to.
Appearance:
The lithe framed gray fox is a bit taller than the average fox her age, but not towering. Her eyes are a stunning, solid chocolate brown. With tiny, dainty paws, Rebel is light and nimble. She's also fairly strong, despite her thin form, and an impressive fighter.
History:
Rebel was born to a family of six; three brothers and both her parents. When she was around three moths old her mother and father both died from a sickness when Rebel payed too much attention to helping her brothers, whom both had the sickness as well. She tried desperately to stop her brothers from dying, but she knew they would, so she made the heart-wrenching decision to leave them, or she would have died with them. Being the last of her family, assuming both her brothers had died, she ran off to become the trouble-making vixen she is today. She occasionally sinks into depressive states due to her dark history, but doesn't let it get to her too often, though it does cause her slight easy irritation at times. She doesn't like to get too close to others until she truly knows them, due to the fear that they will leave her or die like her parents did.
Season born: Autumn, November.
RP Sample: Narrowing her eyes on the earthy soil ahead of her, the female treaded cautiously through the forest. She knew that a vixen her age would have to be slightly wary this late at night. Although she was fearless, so to speak, she was starting to shiver. She told herself it was only the chill of the midnight air. "I can find somewhere to sleep later." Rebel thought aloud, quickening her pace. The gray fox was starving, and had to find dinner before she was. Hearing a screech of an owl behind her, Rebel jerked her head up and broke into a thundering run, her paws propelling her across the leaf-strewn forest floor. She slowed down and finally came to an abrupt stop at a large hollow oak. Her tongue lolling out of her mouth and her breath coming in quick, desperate gasps, Rebel was obviously more scared then usual. "What's going on with me?" The female grunted before trotting quietly inside the rotting oak and lifting her nose to the air. The scent of squirrel wafted toward Rebel, and she dropped to a crouch among the bracken below her. With a pounce, the gray fox landed right on the squirrel, and she heard it's neck snap easily beneath her powerful, snapping jaws. She ate the plump rodent with more speed then normal. It had been two days since she'd found anything worth eating. With a full belly and a safe and secluded place for rest, she vixen curled up and shut her eyes gently. If only she would grow used to this lifestyle. But she had plans for the morning, and they included acts of danger and recklessness. But for now, the beautiful canine let herself drift into an abyss of dreams.
