PERSONALITY. Everyone looks at Orion and sees him as a clumsy fool with two left feet. They laugh when they see him fall over his paws and his complete inability to eat meat from a carcass. Orion's dyspraxia has always been bad, and will always cause him problems, right through into adulthood. It takes him a while to adjust to life, and make him realise that he has to take a different approach to the world than everyone else. He has to concentrate on walking and eating unlike everybody else, but as he gets older he gets used to it. Of course, the tripping over his own paws and his coordination fail him often, but he has to take it in his stride and not let it debilitate him.
One of Orion's wishes as a cub was to meet his father. He has been curious since a young age to know about the mystical Gravity. He had heard many stories from other Tempest dogs and always wanted to meet him. Some stories had been bad, about how Gravity was a coward and an unfit leader, and Orion often snapped defensively at that. He despised the thought that his father was unworthy. In his mind, Orion built up a picture of his father as a magnificent hero, who had rescued his mother from captivity and they had romantically fallen in love. He ignored the terrible things that other dogs told him about his father, and instead let his imagination run.
As Orion gets older, his love for his father will fade a little. He will still often question why his family are not the leaders of Tempest, and will claim it unfair that Brooke had cast his father out. Had it been different, his mother and father could be the ones ruling over the Tempest Pack, and his siblings would be the next in line. Sometimes Orion will let his greed get the better of him, and will be tempted into the darkness by promises of riches and females. His morals were once strong as a cub, yet they also fade as he grows older, and he begins to take the wrong choices and life. Orion will be led over to the dark side, where he will be eager to get the best in life, and if he has to, he will take it by force. This could be the best land, the best females, the best position in the Tempest. His morals soon blacken and disappear altogether, however perhaps it will be possible to bring him back from the darkness. APPEARANCE. The most noticeable part of Orio, compared to his siblings, is his dark ebony fur that layers his whole body. There is a few speckled pieces of grey seeping into his fur, and as he grows older he will begin to go grey around the muzzle and face. For now, he remains mostly black. His eyes are also bright, and keep getting brighter towards adulthood. What is a deep brown as a cub, will become a flashing amber as an adult. Depending on the weather, his eyes may look glinting or dull, however.
Orio is a fairly average sized wolf. He isn't too large, nor is he too small. As a cub, due to his dyspraxia, he did have trouble feeding from his mother. His mouth wasn't able to coordinate itself onto the nipple and couldn't take in milk as easily. However, he soon taught himself to feed better, and managed to grow to a good-sized wolf. There are dry spells, where he cannot feed well, or catch prey easily, and he loses a lot of weight, yet Orio often redeems himself in the months with more prey.

DENIM. THREE | MALE | LION | LONER Denim was always close to his father as soon as he was born. This caused Panja to be his idol, whom he always looked up to. He imitated everything that Panja did, obeyed his orders and followed in his footsteps. His mother, Florence, frightened him, and he vowed never to be as scary as her. This caused him to be a more mellow lion, more laid back and easy going. He would never be as ruthless as his mother, however he is capable of losing his temper if the right buttons are pushed. Denim would never pay attention when learning how to fight from other Pride members, always getting distracted by something. He would constantly get berated for his carelessness and slack, which Deni hated as that always meant his mother would get angry at him.
Being the runt of the litter always meant Denim would be the last to get the scraps. He was the bottom of the pile, he was the one that the others could look down on and feel powerful against. He was considerably smaller than all of them, and Denim had always hated how vulnerable that made him seem. As he'll get older, Denim would get larger, perhaps never as large as his two brothers, however he would be large enough to be frightening to most other cats and dogs. As aforementioned, however, Denim isn't much of a fighter and never will be. He will fight if he must, but he'll need a reason. War has always puzzled Denim, ever since his mother explained to him their hatred for canines. It didn't make sense. Florence had told him they were conniving bastards that wanted them dead, yet Denim still didn't understand why.
Denim isn't a stupid lion, yet he isn't exactly bright either. He can come up with plans and think independently, without the need of prompting from others. His initiative can get him a long way, however Denim still doesn't think that he is leading material. The fact that he is second in line to the Iris Pride frightens him. He doesn't want to lead. Alexander, his brother, was the one that was always taught to lead. He was the one with extra lessons and the burden of the Pride resting on his shoulders. However, he was always frightened about what would happen if Alex were to die. Denim didn't want to lead, especially a Pride he wasn't all that fond of. He knew, if he was given the chance to lead, he would probably just advocate. He couldn't cope with the responsibility of the Pride. Denim was born to the leader of the Iris Pride, Florence. He had three other siblings: Alex, Nebula and Orbit. They were close as cubs, but Denim still wasn't satisfied. However, one day he ventured far away from the Pride's territory and came across a puppy named Natiri. He was intrigued, as he had been told from a young age that canines were inherently evil. That day, Denim's world changed upside down. Everything he'd been taught was wrong. Natiri soon became his friend.
During a battle with the Iris Pride, Denim's three other siblings were taken by the Tempest Pack and held hostage in their territory. Denim was devastated and his mother and father were so worried about their other children that they completely ignored him. Feeling so alone, Denim confronted Natiri angrily, blaming her for the kidnapping. When Denim thought back on it, the confrontation had been wrong. Natiri couldn't save his siblings.
Florence, Denim's mother, finally sacrificed her life for the cubs. However, Orbit had died from sickness, and their father, Panja, fell into deep depression. Alex and Nebula were different and Denim felt like he couldn't speak with them. They were bitter and angry and wanted vengeance. By the time Denim was a year and a half old, he left the Iris Pride after confessing his friendship of a canine with his siblings. They were disgusted and Denim felt the Iris Pride was no longer his home.
Since then, Natiri and Denim have been travelling together. They even adopted a lone puppy named Take, who they both care about very much. Denim hopes to never see his siblings again.
