Not sure if this would actually help or not but maybe you'd like to know why I'm annoyed/angry right now.
My family's the type who doesn't go around causing trouble. Everyone knows who we are and knows we're nice/decent people. I live with my grandparents, my grandmother has arthritis and my grandfather has alzheimer's, that apparently doesn't stop someone from breaking into our garage and stealing a new generator, weed eaters and tools. My uncle put boards up to keep whoever it was out but they tried to get in a second time but they were unsuccessful.
My grandmother and I kept looking out the window at night after that and she saw someone outside. She called the police but they already left by the time the police got here. Earlier today some neighbors told us they busted in the car window. Our garage has two parts, one side were tools are and the other side for cars. The door to were we put the car in is broken so we have to keep the car outside. We don't have enough money to fix the garage door, now we have to replace the car window.
I'm afraid that they'll try to break into the house next, but I'm also annoyed that they keep coming back to us at night. It's not wrong for me to hope that something horrible will happen to them right?

Ugh that sounds pretty shitty Mika ):
I don't think it's wrong to wish something horrible to happen to them. Why are they targeting you guys so much? It's cruel, especially for an elderly couple. My house got burgalled a few years ago and it was a horrible, horrible experience. Whilst we weren't in the house at the time, its an awful thing to come back to. I had trouble sleeping and was pretty scared of entering my own home for a while. You shouldn't feel like that in your own home.
I seriously hope the douchebag/s get caught and pay for what they're doing. I wish my burglars had been caught :/

Man, people are just reprehensible sometimes. They’re targeting you guys because they know elderly people, and especially disabled people, are more vulnerable and are easier targets for this kind of crap. Maybe your family should try to invest in a security system? I know there are house alarms out there that don't go for much more than a few hundred dollars. If you can’t afford something like that right away, just asking the neighbors to keep watch whenever you’re out of the house might be good too. In any case, I hope your family can stay safe Mika. And yeah, hopefully those scumbags are captured soon ):

I was able to sleep without worrying since they broke the car window.
One good thing did happen that day. The police said we would have to take the car downtown so they could check for fingerprints because it was moveable. A lady from crime stoppers came and checked for us and she was helping us with our dog who has a big growth on his foot. She asked if she could start a fundraiser to get the growth off of his foot.

Grr, that makes me mad, Mika - people who can't be bothered to earn an honest living, and they prey on weaker people like your grandparents! D< I can't say it's ever happened to my family, but I'd be terrified if it did.
Hopefully your burglars get caught.
And that's great about that lady wanting to help your dog. <3 If I was over there, I'd donate. I hope it does happen and he can be a happy, healthy dog soon!
